the next lens you will need is a 70 - 260mm EF lens to get at least the zoom range that mine has.

Fuji Finepix S5000 - $300US. Good 10x zoom, 3Megapixles, some reviewers ok with the picture quality, some didn't like it. might need a tripod for full zoom pics.
